Stephanie Jook is a Naarm, Melbourne artist working with the notions of time, movement, and connection. These elements of thought are relating to the human passage of time, acknowledging the connection and collections of moments we share in both solidarity and commonality. Incorporating this with a multi-disciplinary approach, her practice involves the exploration of emotive response and reaction through mark-making, materiality and abstraction.
R : I N : M shares collection of works consisting of monochromatic tonal, textural, and sculptural paintings. With underlying themes of reflection and reconnection being at the conceptual forefront, the tranquil nature of the monochromatic palette offers a space to quieten external influence for individual contemplation.
