Moments in lull is a play on parallels between motion and stillness, challenging the idea and questioning whether we are ever really still. While physically bound to a constant cycle of movement we collect moments of experience and form memory. Our experiences cycle in thought transpiring life of their own which entail, creates another cycle of motion. Whether physically or mentally, individually or collectively, we share this experience and we move within the lull.

Melbourne based mess maker, thinker and painter working with the notions of

time, movement and connection. These elements of thought are relating to the human passage of time, acknowledging the interaction, interrelation and collection of moments we share through solidarity and commonality. Incorporating this with a multi-disciplinary approach, her practice involves the exploration of emotive response and reaction through mark-making, materiality and abstraction. She invites the viewer to explore their own thoughts and curiosities. To be present with the work as well as themselves, not un-similar to the way the works are produced by the artist.
